As our fiscal year closes, I want to thank those who helped make it a very successful year. I regret that space does not allow me to list everyone and their accomplishments. Many great things have been achieved since I took office last July and many more are being planned. You are commended for your labors, great and small. But, despite all the positives, there are still areas where we need, as a Post, to improve.
I would like to thank everyone for the confidence that you entrusted in me to lead our Post for the upcoming year. I will do my best to lead our Post forward to another great year.
In order to make our Post flourish it is going to take the efforts of all the members. I ask you to support the canteen and the all activities that are held at our post whenever possible. I know that if we all work together we can make our Post better than it has ever been.
There are plenty of activities being planned for the upcoming months. I ask you to bring your families and spouses and come enjoy some fun and comradeship.
Two words need to be remembered. First word MEMBERSHIP, help us recruit new members. Second word is PATICIPATION. Activities are for the benefit of the members and support of the Post’s mission. The Post needs your participation. Consider making it a part of your routine activities. Come by the Post and let us know what your interest are.
I ask all of you to remember to treat other members of the Post the same as you would want them to treat you. Let’s not let out petty jealousies or attitudes ruin the outstanding things that our Post can do this upcoming year. When individuals bring an attitude to the Post or speak poorly of other members of the Post it does nothing to help the Post grow. Let’s work together. Let’s grow…
